hehe I'm experiencing the same with my quite expensive, no-one-really-needs-it system, winblows BSODs with arbitrary messages telling me to contact my vendor, linux and all tests I ran so far are working as fine as one could think (ok xinerama instead of twinview, few other fast solutions used but no crashs!).
Windows XP, Vista and 7 behaving the same o.O

Well, after all, if proprietary (or was it pro-pirate-ary? >_<) software was perfect, nobody would ever buy upgrades. They are making business to themselves by making it suck on purpose. And why people use such a thing is a mystery to me.

Literaly speaking, there is no such thing as "perfect" to begin with. And as might or might not be obvious from the previous sentence, I didn't mean literaly perfect, I only meant like software that is bulit with all the best intentions for making it as good as possible.
