Who said I have never put anything on my desktop and that I have never changed the wallpaper? Anyways my screen - if not my desktop - most of the time looks like this.

Thanks! Nah, that's a real 10.6.4 OSX  I took snapshots from a gigapixel panorama to make this wallpaper. It's this one: http://www.gigapan.org/gigapans/10489/ A really nice work, credits to the photographer. |

LooooooL the webcam totally looks like from stone age or some old horror movies..Uhuh 4 cores, almost 4 GB RAM... decent computer whats the graphics..?

It's NVIDIA 8400GS 512MB DDR2 (by ASUS). And RAM actually IS 4GB (on a single module, I intend to upgrade to 16GB later), it's less that 4GiB. I compiled WINE in cca. 10 minutes using all 4 cores @3GHz (is clocks down to 800MHz when idle). Code: natirips@nati-desk:/sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq$ cat scaling_available_frequencies Also, I noticed that it (unlike my old CPU) clocks each core separately.

Today I added some stuff to my computer. Imagine my surprise as I just finish returning the screws on the outer housing and press to power button, but the computer won't start up! At that moment AimMe enters the room... I believe I still have a floppy drive somewhere too The one from my PC was sacrificed as I needed more space for additional harddrives, haha
