I don't like really big maps personally; to much running to get some action. Like Vypla, you have to run for miles to see anyone and when you do, you can't hit them with SR* because they are just to far away, so your bullets just lag. Blegh. Haven't played them yet though, but I'm just saying. |

Haven't played them yet though, but I'm just saying. Yes, i hate it when i come into action, i'm too tired to slice anybody. As second you usually have score <20 at end of map, which i don't like. And sr8 only maps are not wanted. It is always good when you can rush into snipers, but not if you're only thing moving on map. |

In fact I played on jerez on wurst some months ago, yes this map is available for a while... I just uploaded heroic (ut4_heroic_beta1, I don't know if there is any final release). Let's (re)test them ! I remember about the texture missing on jerez, but I had another problem too : some textures were blinking, I've never seen this on any other map, and I was the only one to have this bug at the moment. PS : I don't see anything weird about your FPS Rayne. Oh wait, I have the exact same graphic card |

Oh wait, I have the exact same graphic card Yeah knife freaks love tight maps where they can corner a guy and stab him before he realizes what's going on. But i think even them could enjoy these maps, there's a lot of small passages and corners from which you can pop out with a knife and surprise someone, especially on Heroic. I've been running Juarez for 2 hours or so but i haven't seen any blinking textures. Tho i do see it on some maps when my texture depth is set to 16 bits. Like the fountain on abbey inner edges are flickering all the time. Oh and 9600 radeon FTW XD. |

lets test them? its a big server, we need some big maps. the map download has separate server and gigabit uplink, i feel like i must have some use for the investition. vypla is simply extreme big, id suggest it for 200+ players or such. it think vypla has very big visibility stages, never had performance issues but i think it eats alot... |

Well we tried Heroic map same day as Svarox added it and for some reason server only allowed 4 people to be on. Everyone else disconnected as soon as they connected to the server. Juarez is my personal favorite since it's pretty big but not vypla big and it seems to run pretty smooth. |
