ok then.
so.. post something?

You don't understand the mind of genius, like our Pirate. He is perfectionist, he wouldn't dare to post unfinished, unpolished, raw product. Not a single mistake can be made.

:)

Couldn't have put it any better. ;-) *cuddle*

I'm currently at a point where posting details wouldn't be
helpful. When the basic things work like I want them to
work, I'm gonna post. I'll bring this to an end, no matter
what.

Currently, I'm switching from mysql to mysqli interface,
as the mysql interface doesn't handle subqueries correctly.

Yes, I'm a database noob. Yes, at least some of the
mistakes I have to make on my own. :-} But I might
leave a few to you guys. |-)

And just so you don't think I'm praising vaporware, I
attached some random screenshot of my work. :-)
Note that none of the information shown in the
screenshot is necessarily final.

Pirat, debugging mysqli + group_concat now.
I'll threaten PHP with using exec("echo $CMD | mysql -u dbuser"). :-)

EDIT: Fixed. I knew this threat would come in handy. =)

Because we're soulmates and thus share the same impressions. 8-D

Above bug was just ill- or non-quoted quotation marks, nothing terribly wrong. |-)

Oh, ah, oh, I see! m)

Will remember when I stand in the ruins of tons
of collapsed PHP code. %-]

But I'm trying to be half-way pragmatic, really! :-}

Just another random screenshot, this time showing a few
things in the frontend. Dropped down is a list of individual
ratings and notes for the tag "block". Between the name of
the tag and the list, the average rating is printed (0.73).

Note that havoc's entry is in boldface, because he is in the
list of "Seasoned users the ratings of which I can trust" --
please also note that his existence in such a list is purely
fictional, as he would rate every map simply as "anuskarte".
;-)

judging by his early screenie and the user rating thing, it definitely went a bit complicated and a bit sideways :)
