Testing animated gifs in links2: :p Hmm, it seams that animated gifs are not animated, but some gifs are not rendered at all. :/ |

Tough luck. Don’t use anything written by me, then:-P EDIT: Hm, it’s more broken than I thought; !lt doesn’t actually return a number that could be used in http://www.dswp.de/old/tdm-player etc., except for some occasions; but I already know what links to use:-)

:-/ I so like having an comfortable link to IP search in there… Anyway, is posting full IPs illegal or not? If yes, then I’ll censor them like Pirat does (and fully following the letter and not spirit of the law, leave the full forms available in the demos). |

Nice to see that at least a few Windows users want to get out of inefficiency hell. :-) I don't know about the workflow with your shortcuts.xml (there is no "href" in it, so probably you're using a text template where you fill or copy+paste the info generated by shortcuts.xml), but I'm looking forward to a solution that makes it easier for Windows users to post demos. Thanks, JRN! |

Pirat wrote: I don't know about the workflow with your shortcuts.xml (there is no "href" in it, Ah, no, there’s no workflow; I’m fine with posting the demos via web interface, this macro just automates the tedious formatting of the identification data. I could make this better with few regexes, but its functionality would remain at the same level no matter what.so probably you're using a text template where you fill or copy+paste the info generated by shortcuts.xml), but I'm looking forward to a solution that makes it easier for Windows users to post demos. Windows, yes, it’s rather nasty; there’s no shell to speak of (can’t really expect that a person would have one of the mutually-incompatible (commercial) powershells). I take that if you want to write something like postdemo, you’d need to have the user have Perl or Python installed, or write a full-blown application in a compiler language:-/ I have no idea how difficult it would be in Python, but I’m sure it would take a lot of learning, so it’s somewhat unlikely I’ll do it. BTW, are there actually any Windows-using mods/admins who’d care? |
