I think we need more ppl with access to server restart command or (will be better) someone who will fix the problem. |

ut4_offshore also kills the server with "bad command byte"... set the map few minutes ago... crap I am so sorry. |

Crusher wrote: ut4_offshore also kills the server with "bad command byte"... set the map few minutes ago... crap I am so sorry. Happened to me, too. Cautious as I am, I (mostly) test maps first locally (i.e. at home), then on the TS server (as it's mostly empty), and only then on the TDM server. ut4_offshore was fine on TS, but not on TDM (at least not with too many players). I like ut4_offshore -- execept the fact that one of the teams spawns on show, sotosay, with zero cover. |

Okay, new server (Linux), and I deleted all jump maps from TDM, maybe that helped a bit, too. Current status: OK: happyjumptutorial (JUMP) OK: dicks (TDM) with 25 players AOK. FAIL: ut4_superman (TDM). 7 players, 10+ in spec with 999. EDIT: Hm, could this mean the 10+ ppl were still downloading the 44 MB map after 5 minutes? FAIL: ut4_offshore (TDM). Bad command byte. Will have to delete more maps ... |

[...] I deleted the following maps: Maps that are not good/rarely played/for non-TDM mode: Code: blackbridge.pk3 dk_ht2.pk3 farwest.pk3 lostisland_b2.pk3 metro.pk3 moonstone.pk3 papertown.pk3 peru.pk3 piratewars.pk3 post.pk3 q3martdm.pk3 taumafort_b2.pk3 ut42_revolution.pk3 ut4_alqoffice2.pk3 ut4_athena_alpha.pk3 ut4_bondroom_b4.pk3 ut4_cambridge_fixed.pk3 ut4_elements.pk3 ut4_mk-village_b4.pk3 ut4_orb3_bumpy.pk3 ut4_skeetshoot_2010.pk3 ut4_temple2_beta.pk3 ut_museum_fix.pk3 ut_sniperduell.pk3 vitinground_b5.pk3 Please file complaints about their removal in this thread. :-) Maps that are (too) broken (for TDM): Code: area51_beta1.pk3 chronic.pk3 history.pk3 requiem.pk3 saloon.pk3 saloon_fixed_b1.pk3 tlw_dust_repack.pk3 tlw_dust_se_rc1.pk3 uni4.pk3 ut4_baghdad_alpha_A010b.pk3 ut4_blackmarket_beta3.pk3 ut4_maximus_v1.pk3 ut4_outpost.pk3 ut4_streetz.pk3 ut4_suburbia_b4.pk3 I also delete more (hopefully all) jump maps, the first load was just the set of jump maps whose filename matches *jump*. Current status: OK: happyjumptutorial (JUMP) OK: dicks (TDM) with 25 players AOK. OK: ut4_superman (TDM). 19 Players. OK: ut4_offshore (TDM). 15+ Players. Yay! :-) . |
