Statusxml is dead again (“Oops: Error while parsing on line 1”), daylygraph is gone, and I can’t attach any files (“The image file you tried to attach is invalid.”). Fun fun fun.

EDIT: Can’t log into Echelon either.

i can tell you why - webspace is full
Quote:
IscpOmega:~# df -h /var
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/hdb1 30G 30G 0 100% /var

but even after moving about 1gb to another disk (krams dir was moved to /home/krams) the new space isn't available.

Quote:
IscpOmega:/# df -h /var
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/hdb1 30G 29G 0 100% /var

this is where my knowledge ends..but can't have something to do with statusxml or autodoc...they're just using about 1mb.

maybe wursti or pirat can take a look at it

This may be a stupid question, but have you tried
Code:
du -h /path/to/some/dir
to see what's using up the disk?

Edit: Now it's gonna be interesting if it turns out my posts are using to much space ;) .

thx for the hint, needed some time to get a overview, since du -h some_dir prints a full list of all subdirs oO

ended up with "du -hm dir | sort -n"
wich showed
Quote:
15997 dswp.de/map_dirs
19945 dswp.de

at the bottom..15gb map_dirs? strange 'cause they were just mounted in from another server, anyway, i unmounted them (sorry, pirat), but didn't change anything as expected.

i gues the machine backed up everything from the virtual dswp host, including the mounted-in 15gb of maps oO
worked yesterday, but this morning disk got full imo.

i'll need some time to move the big backup anywhere (don't want to delete, just in case...)
and exclude the new mounted in map dirs from that backupscript...

ended up with adding
Quote:
umount /var/www/virtual/dswp.de/map_dirs/map_pics
umount /var/www/virtual/dswp.de/map_dirs/gamesrv22222
umount /var/www/virtual/dswp.de/map_dirs/gamesrv22223
umount /var/www/virtual/dswp.de/map_dirs/gamesrv22224
umount /var/www/virtual/dswp.de/map_dirs/gamesrv22225
umount /var/www/virtual/dswp.de/map_dirs/gamesrv22226

to the backupscript - don't worry there's a "mount -a" after the job is done - for excluding map dirs from the backups.
deleted the gigs of backup and started the creation of a clean new one (that's why it might lag currently).
also moved the krams dir to old position.

Quote:
IscpOmega:/home# df -h /var
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/hdb1 30G 8.5G 20G 31% /var

looks better ;)

4.2 server is screwing with statusxml — once or twice per minute, its players and scores are shown, and both servers’ round timers suffer from a bad case of bollocks.

EDIT: And the ingame advertising says it’s :22222… have we been indulging in reckless copying lately?
