Hi, i'm BRAVO from Argentina.

I really like your server, your mapcycle, and how it's admined, and more than other the fact it is bomb mode!!, because there are no bomb mode servers in america :cry: that's why i have no other option than coming to play on euro servers, i use to play on gsx dust2 server and nexunity, and i have refrained from playing in your server lately because bot always kicks me after a few minutes playing because of my ping, but happens to me like tonight, the other servers are empty, your server has about 6 players, and i have nowhere to play!!.

So well, this is a hi, and a gentle request for you to change that little thing in the bot which forbids me of playing on your server, if you accept i could also agree on joining only when server not full or so.. :)

the settings from the b3 bot are an experiment, but we can change it!! :D

sure we cant lower ur ping, if u need help to setup a server with our administration tools we will do np.
u dont need a fast computer.
imagine that maybe america has no server cause u dont run 1 and that could be changed kinda easily...

Oh, i'd like it to be so simple wurst, but it isn't.

I started playing UrT in 2008, and i'v got clear it's nothing easy to have a nice server like this running, it takes a lot of cool people to help, experience, much time, the will to do things right, and much money (at least in my country), that and the fact i only know to use the computer for one thing: playing videogames :D

To be honest i love playing here..., cool ppl, competitive players, a nice community, and i'v made some knowns, i join euro server and there is always some one saying hi to me, i love it :lol:

Ping..., yes, it's a pain in the ass, but i started playing in NA around 2011 - 2012 FTW S4 and 5, i started to play there to practice high ping spread control (i was very good player those times, truly competitive), and i ended up liking it, made friends, joined PPA and wip, and discovered that even if i play with this huge ping dissadvantage i can usually do it good (unless a very good t1 competitive player on other side), and have a lot of fun.

I'd like to stay, i really like playing here, and i hope it bugs nobody.
Let other to open a server in Argentina. :)

maybe just start by organizing an old pc (eg dualcore netbook) with a good connection?
its really not that hard if theres some people helping and they will come for sure.

Without considering i work as a donkey Monday-Friday, so my only free time are weekends (i love weekends) and that making me not to have time for a proyect like admining a decent server would be, and even if i had the time, i know it wouldn't work... because i'v already tryed in the past....

I had a lot of free time those times, i used to start playing UrT in the morning, and sometimes, still playing next morning, damn sick :? . The server was never intended to be a "community", but a public BM server admined by a clan. I made a good mapcycle with official clasic maps (the favourites), team swapping, 1:30 rounds, 10min/half, and build a forum for people who wanted to send cheaters demos to be reviewed (cheaters were a huge problem those times), a nice and good server in all word. Spent much time there, walljumping alone looking for fast plants, and in three months it never got to be not even a little playerbase, and it was the only bomb mode server in america. :| people just seemed don't want to play on a gamemode they didn't understand.

About the video, good times, but most of those players don't play anymore, Have u seen this ones? ;)
