Eey boys,

First of all i'm very happy to see such a healthy and server with so many awesome members!!.

The 64 player thing i'm not to happy with to be honest.
B3 starts to get slow when we have 45 player let alone when we have 64. (0for example: I gave someone a warning for his name the other day and after a minute or so he changed his name to something better but 3 minuts later he got kicked anyway)
The second thing i'm worried about is switchen between players when you want to spec someone.
If there is someone who you don't trust it can become a bit of a problem to find him between 64 players.

As I preposed to Wurst: Can we duplicate this server to make it into 2-35 slots servers?

Sjizz.

Keep up the good work guys XD

You can (in console) use /playerlist and then /follow <name or id>. You don't have to click 40 times to spec a player. Just be sure to spec somebody before you use follow, or you won't see weapons and crosshair. So go to spec, click once and then type /playerlist and /follow <name or id>.

Thank you Aim,

As you can see i'm new witch b3 so correct me if i'm wrong.
how to spec someone is now fixed but there are still some other problems to overcome with b3 if we want
64 slotz.
Or is there no one who agrees with me:P

That's true, b3 becomes slow when there are lots of tks. It was slower before, we already did some fixes. But i'm not one who can help here...

ye, its true.
ill talk to svarox later, we have a fixed version running here.
it dont remove all latency from the b3, but everything runns a whole lot faster.
the version of b3 must be run together with our self-compiled version in order to lower the rcon delay in the gameserver.
(allow b3 allow shoot more often rcons, means making the gameserver accept them more often...)

btw which address does ur server have?
how did u get it up?
whats the prices and conditions in australia?

Nice work dudes. :D

For so many players, i think large maps are needed. It becomes overcrowded when playing on maps like turnpike, sometimes even abbey. But lets see the gameplay.

ye large maps.
and with them, we need a second uplink.
the game lags while 45 people load with 3-6 mbits dsl.
btw: it will be there very soon, in fact as soon as blinky gets his head clear to mount it...

:)

Eeyy Wurst,

I did not mount my server yet.
I did run a server on my own machine with b3 and all working nice.
The prices for dedicated server here are around 100 euro a month.
I'll see when I set up my own cause running it at home is not a possiblilty for any aussie.

Sjizz.

What did you say about a second up-link?
