I recently read about binding fov 90 and 110 to a key in order to "zoom" with pistol/lr/m4, what ever you want, would work with spas :D
anyways, 110 gives you the advantage to see more of your surroundings and 90 does support your aim since the targets are bigger. I wrote a few lines, dunno if one can do it better. Replace AUX1 (my side button on the mouse) with whatever key you want to use ;)

wow, we must ask xtj7 for that issue 1 day...
its possble to make a ring of 33 inch monitors and have 360 degrees view.
i mean just for the case this monitors get even cheaper...

I bet aiming with that would look like aimbot... who knows how many people using such high-tech were already banned for aimbotting here... :D

Yeah, must be huge advantage... Too bad turban error doesn't allow 0-360 fov, that way you could really zoom with that script.

But i would like to have so many monitors.

fov 360° does not work in urt, and it never did in q3 IIRC
something about 180 was max? someone test and confirm :P
fov range in urt is 90 to 110 @dmmh

They might be using a recompiled ioQuake version.

Wow nice vid oO Seems they use 4 projectors, so the fov must not be an issue but they probably use a special Q3 version, at least to play with a wiimote-like :)

Max was 160, even on UrT I couldn't get past this limit (totally unplayable on a 4/3 resolution anyway =)
