Hi people,

I've tested ut_deep, a particular map where people fight into... the ocean. I found it funny for a TDM or a TS; I'm not sure if 45 people would fit for this map though. People can also get bored by dying for "swimming with the fishies" fairly often :)

Tell me your opinion about it!

salut felixmole!

Thanks for your suggestion. I would like to test this map with a few players one day, but it's not suitable for the TDM. I expect the most players to "sleep with the fishes". Or they stay in their spawns and only swim for one SR8 shot and then get back into the spawn. Nevertheless this map is definitely a new approach.

Yes, crazy idea to make such a map...
Problem is, it's a big box, so it would quickly get laggy I think.
I would like to test it =) Too bad you can't increase moving speed on urt...

Hey there,

Well I've just tested it in a CTF game. It was quite funny, and was not too much laggy. Anyway I figured out that it was really a camper map. To manage to do something in there, you have to have a weapon with a scope (like PSG1-G36). I wouldn't recommend to play in this map with more than 20 players.

ye, the thing is that the system load for the clients increase dramatically over 30.
we cant play maps that have only one room where u can see from one edge to the other.
the magic term is "visibility stages"

im sry cause of that, theres really just a few maps that render ok with that shitload of clients.
