When this hint is gone (within a few days after 2012-01-28, I hope), you can edit this page and add your experiences with the various maps.

Update 2012-01-29: Oh god, the Wiki seems to be too underpowered to host this list. I might have to code my own frontend for this list, which will take a little longer. :-/

0 - F - FFA (free for all)

4 - S - TS  (team survivor
5 - L - FTL (follow the leader)
6 - H - C&H (capture & hold)
7 - C - CTF (capture the flag)

Example Map Entry

This (partially) ficticious example map entry contains most of the possible data. Most things should be self-explanatory.

A red cross () left of the map filename (with the map filename in red) means that it's broken (for our purposes), i.e. it doesn't work in TDM.

A light bulb () right of the map filename means that it's installed on both dswp game and download server(s). This might be the case even if the map is broken, so be careful when voting for maps on dswp.

A map is defined as working for mode X, if it has at least 45 spawnpoints for mode X. The number of spawn points can be checked like this:

If that is the case, the game mode is printed in black and boldface. If the number of spawn points is unknown, but the map worked a few times with Y players, then the game mode is printed in black (but no boldface), and the game mode annotation in the feature list should say “Worked with Y players on YYYY-MM-DD”.
Sizes for “Map Size” are: small, medium, large. If you can't decide, take “medium”.

Please sort maps (within a section) strictly alphabetically (ASCII order) according to their filenames, not their map names! This means that capital letters come first and 0-9 come before “_”, which leads to the following order:
- ut42_
- ut4_
- ut_

Add a data in YYYY-MM-DD form to each of your notes, if possible.

Add your name (nickname or whatever) to each of your notes, if possible.

To cycle out means that a client disconnects, leaving the frustrated player with the message “a reliable command was cycled out”

Although camping is a matter of taste, the property “campy” should appear on the “Cons:” side of a map (as it is mostly frowned upon on this server, except for very few maps (maybe Ramelle, Eagle, Riyadh)).

If there are properties that are neither clearly pro or con, add them to the “Notes:” section and highlight them with boldface.
