I've just remembered (after a very campy round on casa) that there once where such features for public CS servers (dunno if it still exists). I don't know if it's at all possible with urbanterror, but I think this is nice for public servers.

What does it do? After a certain time (say 5-10 seconds) on the same spot you get a big text warning (sth like Don't just sit and wait morron), few seconds later (1-3) if the player still is at the same spot he get's a slap (if possible one moving him a few meters into the front; damage from 20-50% would be nice too :D), maybe a warning would be good too.

I realise that this might become a problem while bandaging, but doing a few steps in the meanwhile shouldn't be a big problem.

I think I saw it on one of the public server. When you are camping, you gar warning 1, warning 2, and kick from server. Something like teamkilling.

PS: I wasn't kicked, other players were.... :mrgreen:

jap, this exist in urt also... u can make it with slap, with nuke, with kick... but i fucking dunno how :?

I recently saw that on the zudohf server, big map with few people and I was camping :) , then big fat on the screen: "10 seconds till inactivity drop". Oh hell I stopped camping immediately. :D

but inactivity bot could be useful too :D Maybe you can add that one for inactive players on full server (i can't join now :()

inactivity drop tends to be stressful IMHO
same goes for spectator kick (watching other players... ;) )

not to mention the ban time...


it is effective, yeah, but the cons fuck up the pros...

where is the con if the bot tracks your movement? that shouldn't affect spectators in any way

12 sec inactivity drop is nothing more than a bad joke.
and kicking spectators too fast sucks no lesser.

it is both useful yeah, but it is somehow just plain crap.


that was what it was about, with a bot tracking your movement i am perfectly fine..

It dont have to be 12 sec, it could be 1 min for people who just stand on spawn. They block your way, and take place from somebody who wants to play.
