Today people bragged about having lag, but I didn't notice anything so exotic at all. I really don't think it's server sided, unless I've suddenly became a super pro at q3's config over night that has tweaked the config specifically for wts. Or perhaps I'm just so extremely lucky. And I'm also hitting better than before...

I started to play in this server. I like servers with a lot of people like this 1. The thing i would change about this server is the time limit and the frag limit. Both r too low. I would change it to 20 minutes and 400 frags. Idk what u people think of this.

We tried fraglimit 300+ and timelimit 15 for a while. Some people (including myself) preferred to switch back to the actual settings, because you play on lots of different maps. Short round duration can also help when the game is unbalanced, you don't have to wait 15 minutes for the game to finish...

the frag- and timelimit is very good with 12 min an 250 kills....

all other thing would be boring soon....

We have been experimenting quite a bit. Originally we had 10 minutes and 250 frags, then - as stated already - 15 minutes and 300 frags. That was too much, so we went down to 12 minutes and 300 frags, which meant the fraglimit was basically useless, it was almost never hit. So we cut it down to 250 and it seems perfect for most players. Short round times have another benefit: If you dislike a map, it will be over quickly :)

well for me it is clear: I get much better kills when there are 14-16 players on the server. When it's crowded, I get much less hits.
I shoot at people spot on and they don't get hit. I notice it the most with SR8. I like a lot of players, but I do not like the lag....

So I'm not the only one who empties entire clips at someone's stomach from half a meter distance without a single bullet hitting the target?
