back again

A few days ago, we had a User on the server on kingdom who had very strange graphics and graphic issues. After a few questions, it was clear, a Mac user with a ATI Graphics-Card. One month or so ago, i read in the official forums that theres a bug in kingdom witch calls such graphics issues for ATI Mac Users.

I dont know if users with such problems have also do something, cause i have a Nvidia Card installed and no issues...

btw: why do u guys use ati cards at all?
they are buggy, the drivers are a mess, ati simply ignore the fact that theres unixoid os.

mac users sure have no chance, but ok not eveyone can have a good comp.
anyways. the case has a futureproof design, a magnesium-titanium thing with platinum buttons. inside is a pc, but its a pc that has lots part that no normal person would buy.

ah, theres a trick:
-go to ebay
-sell the mac
-buy a good comp, from the rest of the money get drunk!

btw:
programs like time machine wont be some fancy thing (simply called "incremental backup").
plus you will learn that a backup should be stored on another drive at least.
and many more.

I'm also using an ATI card because I had no choice, like "poor" mac users (yes drivers are horrible on linux, I can't display QL on full screen because of them). Next time I have the choice it's Nvidia of course.
Weird that this bug is related to OS. Any screenshot of kingdom with the bugged drivers ? I sometimes ask people to post screen here but noone did :/

Besides the discussion if macs are bad or not, its a bug!

If I remember right that mac problem, I have almost same with Windows.
My graphic card is ATI Radeon HD 5550 silent.
Example I go to Eagle and watch to the river, looks bad, seriously. Black lines etc.
I can send those .tga pictures if some1 wanna see...
Help, please.

EDIT: Problem solved with updating ATI Catalyst Control Center. 10.5 --> 10.10

Other problem, windows don't find sound device.
