Train is a very good map on my opinion BUT
there's a place where I never frag : it's near the door that open when it wants and where a noob as me allways stays prisoner.
Have you noticed that bug ?

I asked steve once if he could make the doors open on both sides, but he doesn't want to. So it will stay a trap I think

I guess it's not a bug of the map itself, it's a general problem of doors. I guess, if you stand in a certain distance to the doors and there is a certain space between doors and wall, you can be stuck. So from my little imagination Steve could change his map or Frozen Sand tries to remove this stuck bug in 4.2.

I discovered some days ago a "new" door trick: go through a door and press Ctrl right when you are through, this will close the doors behind you, and you don't have to turn and loose time to close the doors. Probably very old trick, but nobody told me up to now.

And that's how I typically close the doors behind me. That is, if Ctrl is the use key for you (as KP3 is for me). But I don't do that because I don't want to waste time, but rather because I'm too lazy to turn around.

Well its waste of time to turn around and it moves your attraction to the door, not to possibly engaging enemies

Ah well I hate that door too ...
btw its more work to make a door close like that than the other typical urt doors

Good song, Rasta. For ut4_train this door is really some kind of door to heaven (at least it is the highest door and gives access to a good sniping place).

Looool looks like i'm only one closing doors different. When i'm closing doors i guess i use bug. When doors are opened, they are on right or left side, but their activator is on same place as for closed doors. So i press "F" (use button) when i'm passing and doors will close after i pass, without turning back.

And i hate that door too.

btw, i often shoot people when im stuck there.
when u come from blue and u stick behind the right door: its kinda nice camp place with easy anti-enemy-lock (u can escape fast by closing the door...)
