now i only need to fix my urt start up problem.........

maybe you could help yourself through being more specific about your problem.

hm ok......

any time i start urt there comes the normal start up (console then fullscreen),than comes the urt logo and i see the userinterface but then suddenly it totally hangs off and i have to quit the process and restart urt. after may 5 or more times it works and i can play. but i dont know how to fix it and it really annoys me that i have to do that sh** all time. i also tried to reinstall urt several times but it didnt help anything.........

what have you set for com_hunkmegs?

do you have any error messages in the urt-console you can present us?

how much RAM have you got?

somebody else has another idea than this being memory-related?

Are you running a compositing window manager* (beryl, compiz, metacity, whatever-windows_vista/7's / Mac OS-X's-window-managers-are-called)? In which case how much video memory do you have?

*Or do you have any ultra-hyper-turbo fancy desktop environment?

I noticed problems with 3D applications generally when using compiz with 64 vitrual desktops grid on my 128MB video card if I set different wallpapers for each of them.

Are other 3D games working fine?

Have you read the console output ? I guess you doesn't run UrT from a terminal, so you must have a .log file somewhere, it will be easier to spot the cause of the crashes.

Windows XP SP3
g.-card:Nvidia 8600 GTS with 512 MB RAM
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5000+
2,59 GHz, 2 GB RAM

and i cant look into the urt console cause with hanging up i mean TOTALLY hanging up with nithing that works in urt.(i also cant look into the console which can be seen at the urt startup:P)

i'm using the "zune"-desktop theme

other 3d games r running pretty good

What .log file u meant?

You can try using Mitsubishis optimized .exe for UrT, unlike of what most people think it's not just Ikalizer sound improvement it's more of a patch that has helped a lot of people. It cab repair some common errors relating FPS lag but also helps with problems that require a higher level of knowledge (higher level of knowledge means-we dont shit about it). Also it fixes minor glitches such as short lag when someone enters the game (which is something that happened to me a lot of times).
