I don´t agree with the division of the server... you are just opening a can of worms. Although sometimes i don´t like the gameplay style of some people, that only play with the purpose of "working the stats", this server needs to maintain the focus as a "fun server".

I think this server is working well. For the people who like play games as competition, well i think there are many choices out there.

And about the size of the maps... i think, Tombs, Toxic and Subterra are big maps... it takes some time to reach to the enemy spawn points.

it just seems to be set by design that theres maximum 3 cycles.

I would like sliema to mapcycle. It's big map, only problem is that my knife record could fall. Anyway i like that map, and any player can find place of it play.

I like this map too, only problem for me is that some places are really framerate killers...

BTW: If we can only vote for 10 maps and out of those that were voted, 8 are medium sized maps, 1 small sized map and 1 big sized map, we have a problem if there are many players online as the cycle would only have 1 map :D
The solution is to fill up the remaining maps to have AT LEAST 5 maps for each size. We can do that by either adding medium maps to the small cycle and adding medium maps to the big cycle, OR we take a look at all (30 or so) maps that have been voted on, if the big cycle has less than 5 maps, we fill it up with the maps that are lower than the top 10 that were voted for, but still in the top 10 for that cycle type (big in that case).
I don't know if I could make clear what I see as the problem/solutions :D

If someone is bored :D , map voting could be divided into three sections: big, medium and small maps, each voted separately. So we'd have 3 voting "menus" or pages (not just one) or something.

I think 3 seperate votes is a bit much work, perhaps it's easier to pre-select maps based on previous popularity if there are a few missing
