I sometimes deliberately heal an enemy when I notice that I
attacked them while they were (temporarily) AFK.

And sometimes (that actually happens very rarely, but it
does) when I have the chance to kill someone who is
nearly dead (1% or so), I heal them first (if they let me)
and then step back, pull my knife and fight to the death! =)

In case someone wonders why I often defend myself with
a firearm when someone attacks me with a knife (from a
distance where normal people had enough time to switch
to the knife): It's (most of the times ;-) not cowardice, but
my poor old nerve-wrecked pirate brain that is too slow
to adapt to this situation.

Oo-o-oh, I thought it was because you allow knifers the honor of fighting against autos (as in: for a real hard-core knifer knife-vs-knife just isn't fun).

Last year I actually got fed up with fair play (and knife vs knife in general) — way too often a third player comes along while slicers are doing their dance and kills one of them (to make things more fun, it’s commonly a teamkill too). It’s not like I’m specifically going to switch to rifle when spotting a slicer, but I’m sure not going to go out of my way to make things “fair”. You chose to run around with knife in a shooter, die like a (wo)man.

Yeah, heard that it's less fun from a knifer yesterday.
