got a new notebook, not really gaming station but it has some nice things (and some shitty -> i have multitouch screen on notebook )
Cost under 1k euro i think.. will update some photos maybe when i have time!

What kind of win license do you have?

The student version of Win7 I had this semester was limited to max. 2 processors at a time.

Uh that's crazy that they limit number of processors.. I have win7home premium. The cpu is just i7 2670QM with 4 cores.

Iiiiinteresting background color for putty. :-)

That reminds me that back in university, I had
a script that gave each new xterm a random
background color out of a set of fall colors
(various shades of yellow and brown).

Nice idea to customize my Putty at work.

i used to delete things in the wrong windows
it stopped the day when EVERY remote console got a new fresh fruity gay ballroom dress.

It doesn't look like that because he only has 8 gigs of RAM, not 16

coz putty to localhost sounds fail (would you either run putty with wine or cygwin with sshd?)
multi touch screen sounds nice, I'm still ogling the transformer tablet, but not sure if it supports quality videos (720p/1080p with decent framerate) ... have to find someone that owns one of these things
