I once again have to point out that the refresh function appears to lack a timeout. A few minutes ago my router hang up (crappy siemens device) and as the main access node took down the entire network with it. The bar got once again stuck "refreshing" and firefox refused input. Just like what happened every time my laptop went out of wifi range.

Yes, the toolbar is incompatible for a while... you could change the config of your Firefox to allow incompatible addons. Or SvaRox just change one digit in the addon's istall.rdf and updates the .xpi-file.

that way ana and me have different IP.


why should that make a difference?
no matter how i connect: im getting exactly the same from webserver, using hosts file and name resolution...
btw: on anas pc it worx, she has an older version of firefox.

ah, and im getting the player list.
u can see the dropdown menu, counting 37 players.

Can you upload the new version of the toolbar without the alertbox and with updated version compatibility?

And there is still one problem: When the toolbar can't get data from the server (whatever the reasons are) and is "Refreshing..." it freezes the whole browser for 10 to 20 seconds. Is it possible to put that somehow in a background process?

Guided by SvaRoX through IRC I fixed two things in this useful Firefox Addon, and he signed and uploaded the new file.
1. It's now compatible with Firefox 3.*, so no warning while installation
2. The annoying alert box "Cannot retrieve data" is disabled
