what's the secret with one month bans with such cheaters? very lenient server?!

ps. same player showed up on my clans server, with cheat.

Usually, people are given a second chance on this server. That's why a one-month ban to cool down. If a player repeatedly tries to cheat there goes a permanent ban.

is there a way to tell if a player has been busted for cheats? does it show on stats view?

With BigBrotherBot and Echelon there is a way for moderators and admins to see, if a player has cheated before. If someone cheated demo-proof twice, he is banned permanently, otherwise he gets a second chance, like natirips explained.

While someone is banned there is a ghostbuster image instead of stats.

Check any red bans here for example recent_admin_bans.php .
