All of you who played cs should remember the good old he maps where you have to frag your enemy using just nades. There were plenty of different maps which offered he training, in UrT however I haven't seen such a map once. I also have seen that most people around here know how to aim, have at least some basic movement but no clue who to use their nades in a good way (timing, taking it back, throwing in general), such a map could improve the nade skills. Several mappers around here told me that it is possible to put weapons on the ground and therefore it should be possible to create such maps in UrT as well.
So the request should be simple: A map which is just a square room, separated by a glass wall, the teams spawn on the different sides and a lot of grenades are lying around on the floor.

Ill do it, if you wont use it on the TDM btw what do you mean with separated? players cant pass, but nades?

hihi another job for ryl (just remember boxcity_zombie) tennis?? but u cant throw the nades back!!! for tdm we have to enable the hk96 then or everyone gets kicked because of respawn-telefragging ==> make teh map bigger + add hk96 (MASSACRE!! YEEHA!!) xD but a good fun map idea... btw whatz about any padmap massacre on tdm??? just for fraggin n00bs xD kk bad idea, f2,f10 xD

glass wall is see through, cannot be penetrated destroyed by bullets/he/hk, players cannot pass it? not even when several players stand on top of each other?
{so in this case the lower one is simply a brush with a glass-texture, and the upper one is a playerclip (but neiter weaponclip nor grenadeclip).}
or is the wall just a playerclip/bulletclip, that only nades can pass?
further: how high should the glass wall be? how many players can play the map at once? seperated spawn-rooms for tdm? cover on each side is provided? and if yes, how? with boxes?

hmm ok apparently less people played CS then I thought ... Lower part of the wall is unpenetrateable, since UrT has sick movement options the upper part should be player clip but allow nades (no need for weapons). The goal is to kill the other side with nades and nothing else! height ... 1.5-2 times player size for the lower part, upper part should be as high as the ceiling, no way to pass to the other side. Amount of players to play it ... 10-15 I think, otherways the map would get too big. And the game mode should be TS not TDM, so the nades on the ground will reappear each round and you don't have to /kill to get ammo :P This map is supposed to be he only, no hk or other weapons.

Done Ok need testing and report... I've designed a small map, similar to the CS one. Red and blue team spawn on the opposite sides of the net. There are lots of (yet invisible...) grenades on the ground which respawn every seconds. Over the net is a player clip preventing people to jump on the opposite side, this player clip being activated in TDM and TS. There are bomb spots and flags for CTF and CAH. Of course, better disable every weapons, including nades (!gear none for those who can). The map is available on the TDM, TS and Bomb server. Its name is ut4_he_tennis_v0.1.
