just found one interesting map: tohunga
its currently in beta 8 state and would be IMO an enrichment for the small cycle

At least now the download links in this thread are down, so I googled it and found a working link on the UrTDevs page.

Have yet to see this map in a game, but it looks solid and well-made; could perhaps use a bit more height differences, and unfortunately everything except the spawns is outdoors.

i've played this map many times on ctf and i must say it sux :P
small, 3 narrow passages and a heaven for nadespawncampers cause u've got tunnels through which u exit (blu), Personally i'd prefer a small map called Nam :)
Desolate was way better than tohunga... :mrgreen:

About tohunga ... can't imagine playing it with more then 12 people, especially without objective it's just ... :S

I think tohunga is not made for TDM, it would be lots of spawnkills and boring gameplay. Unless it's payed in a very small mapcycle, which doesn't exists unfortunately on wurst =)
Nam is cool map, each time I played on it I enjoyed the game. Max 20 players I would say.

Tohunga is gorgeous, and filled with details. Delerium has always made maps that looks nice. But the FPS on that map is low, no matter how many players are there. And it lacks of.....layout. Spawns are in wrong positions, half the map is empty cause people just rush the spawns through the central corridor.

Perhaps Glug would be a better map for a medium cycle.

A bit dark and windows aren't very visible, but looks fine otherwise.

The map looks nice for playing tag or hide and seek. :)

P.S.: I's afraid there would be a lot of stuff going on as in streets.

I was thinking about the same... but there are maps like Turnpike or Abbey that suffer the same thing especially with 45 players... total madness. :D
